Nearly 21 years ago I started a job I would never leave…and the rest is history – I am so happy that we have grown the Lavender House into what it is today.
When I am not designing flowers, I am spending time with my husband, 5 year old daughter, and 3 year old son. I love cooking, baking and spending time outdoors in the mountains or in the garden are a couple of my favourite places to be.

Alina is an intermediate floral designer and wedding designer at The Lavender House. She joined the team in 2023, and has proven herself to be a hard worker, a great team player, and a quick learner! Kimberly and Alina actually share a birthday – it was meant to be! We are so grateful that Alina just so happened to be amazing with flowers and we can't wait to see what 2024 wedding season will hold for us.
Anna is an intermediate floral designer at The Lavender House. She has spent some time traveling and learning different floral arts in different areas with fresh florals as well as preserved dried florals. She is new to Canada but after joining the Lavender House Team, she quickly adjusted to working alongside our team and designing larger items. She is always willing to work on a project and assist to ensure that the designs are flawless. We are excited to have her on the team and we can't wait to see what projects we will work on together in 2024! When not at the shop, she can be found exploring the city with her husband and 4 year old son. She may also be found being creative and working on projects at home, maybe with a coffee and chocolate in hand.
Elaine is one of our intermediate floral designers at The Lavender House. Elaine enjoys working in a small business “family” team environment. Being new to the floral industry, she appreciates the training from both the team members and Kimberly to increase her knowledge of floral design techniques and also to be taught about the many varieties of flowers and their care. Elaine has extensive experience in providing exceptional customer service and previous greenhouse experience, where she learned about a variety of outdoor plant species, plant care, and maintenance. Elain recently completed a six week floral design course to assist in her floral design role. She enjoys gardening, knitting, running, hiking, golf and travel.
Victoria is a Junior Florist at The Lavender House. She is new to working with flowers and has been enjoying learning new skills. While she is new to flowers as a medium, she does have a background in art and design, dabbling in drawing, painting and clay with her small business Three Toed Designs. She is also very active in the Edmonton theatre community, working as an actor and arts educator as a graduate of the Theatre Arts Program at MacEwan University. Fun fact: Victoria just so happens to also be born on the same day as Kimberly & Alina!
